AMG is a global mission organization, with ministries such as evangelism, orphanages, child sponsorship, and radio and newspaper evangelism in 60 countries around the world. While many nationals carry out the work of ministry in a number of countries, there are still needs and opportunities for Americans to offer their services to God through AMG. Immediate needs include:
A missionary couple to work in northern Haiti ministering to children and their families sponsored through AMG's child sponsorship program. Haiti is possibly the poorest country in the western hemisphere, but we have a great opportunity for ministering not only to children but their parents as well.
A missionary couple to help AMG Field Director Peter Hoffmann in the rugged and war-torn country of Kosovo. The needs are great and the ministry multi-faceted. There is a need for servants who are not afraid to get their hands dirty as well as share their faith. These hurting and devastated people need everything, including housing, food, clothing, and schooling for children. Most of all they need the Savior. Could God be speaking to you?
Our national director in Guatemala writes that the staff is praying God would burden a couple to help them with the ministry in Guatemala. This is an extensive ministry involving ministering to nearly 8,000 children, a year-round youth camp, a Bible correspondence ministry, and a hospital in a remote area of the country. This couple needs to have a real servant's heart, for this ministry is very demanding, as well as being very rewarding in terms of service.
Guatemala and Papua New Guinea have need of a career missionary doctor for medical work being done in these two countries.
A youth worker and camp director for northern Thailand is needed to help Joel Ibanez in the ministries of AMG Thailand.
A missionary with printing and publishing experience is needed to assist Ed Oglesby in Audio Visual Para America Latino, located in Puebla, Mexico.
A missionary couple is needed to head up a ministry to 125,000 street children in Mexico City, Mexico's largest city, with a population nearing 30 million.
Spain has need of a Christian school teacher to teach missionary children in the city of Murcia. This requires at least a one-year commitment.
With ministries in nearly 60 countries around the world, missionary opportunities with AMG are limitless. If God is leading you into a career in missionary service, and you feel that AMG might be the agency for you, please contact AMG Missions Department today.
