New Testament Light Now Available on YouTube!
This Bible study broadcast ministry would be expanded in the early 1980s to include daily and weekly television programs, which aired until February, 1993. The radio ministry would continue, with re-broadcasts of earlier studies, until March, 2008. The program featured the teaching of the late Dr. Spiros Zodhiates, longtime president of AMG International and founder of Pulpit Helps, from the original Greek New Testament text. His monthly column, "Exegetically Speaking", is selected from his many writings on the books of the New Testament. He has authored numerous commentaries, often drawing on his background as a Greek to bring to light the nuances of the original language of the New Testament. Pastor/teacher and Pulpit Helps columnist Dr. Wayne Barber joined Dr. Zodhiates on many of the programs from this time period. His column, "Following God", focuses on a practical application of thorough exegesis of the Word. After being unavailable for many years, video segments from the New Testament Light television program are currently being uploaded to YouTube for students of the Word and in memory of Dr. Zodhiates and his many years of dedication and service to the Lord. Additional studies will be added periodically in the future. Click here to visit New Testament Light's YouTube Channel
Pulpit Helps Magazine, a ministry of AMG International, was a monthly publication which ran from 1975-2009. Founded by Dr. Spiros Zodhiates, Pulpit Helps was dedicated to the mission of equipping pastors, Bible teachers, and students of the Word for preaching, teaching, and living God's Truth. Each month, Pulpit Helps provided sermon starters, bulletin inserts, illustrations and quality articles on preaching, counseling, Christian living, and more. The ministry goals of Pulpit Helps continue today in the form of Disciple Magazine online. |
