But there are at least seven other things related to the divine nature of which we may be a partaker. For example:

I. The communion (1 Cor. 10:17-21).

II. Sufferings (2 Cor. 1:7; 1 Pet. 4:13).

III. The consolation (2 Cor. 1:7).

IV. Chastening (Heb. 12:8).

V. Grace (Phil. 1:7).

VI. The inheritance (Col. 1:12).

VII. The heavenly calling (Heb. 3:1)
