    A. Promise of provision of the Spirit.

    B. Promise of the power of the Spirit

    C. Promise of the prospect of the Spirit.

II. ‑The Patience: “But tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem.”

    A. Waiting in prayer.

    B. Waiting with purpose.

    C. Waiting for His plan.

III. ‑The Power: “Until ye be endued with power from on high.”

    A. Power to worship.

    B. Power to work.

    C. Power to witness.
