The House of the Lord

1. A Sure House:
   1. Promise (John 3:16): everlasting life in our eternal home.
   2. Preparation (John 14:1-3): our home is being prepared by Christ.
   3. Pleasure (John 5:24): not facing eternal death, but eternal life.
2. A Sanctified House:
   1. Purity (Rev. 21:21):only the pure live in God’s house.
   2. Promise (Matt. 5:8): the pure will see God’s house.
   3. Preparation (Heb. 12:14): holiness a necessity to live in God’s house.
3. A Stable House:
   1. Permanent (John 11:15,16): physical death cannot prevent us from living there.
   2. Perfection (2 Cor. 5:1): God’s house not made with human hands.
   3. Preparation (Heb. 11:10): our heavenly home made by God!
