"Come as a Little Child"
This article (in the September issue) was very interesting to me. I will agree with and also confirm everything that was written in the article. I am the principal of a Christian school for 30 years now. I have 2 children and 2 granddaughters that have graduated here. They are living for the Lord. Most of our students that have graduated are blessed with good jobs. They still visit about once a year. I always get a hug and some will say, "If it hadn't been for this school, where would I be?" Many of them have accepted Christ as their Savior in my office after our morning devotion.
I'm a preacher's child, and I'm sure you know you are always under a spotlight. I'm so blessed to be in His service trying to make a difference in the lives of our young people. Building Christian character is also very rewarding. When you see one accept the Lord and live a life worth living, that's rewarding.
I ask your prayers for us. We have flooded several times; everything is not perfect, and it's time for another school year to start. Our gym is a mess, our carpet is ruined and there's no money to replace it. The pastor took some money and left. Just really pray for us; we need it here at our church and Christian school.
Thanks so much for Pulpit Helps. It's a real blessing to me. This is not a very orderly letter, but my heart is heavy and my eyes are teary. I know that God will help us through the year. Just pray God will supply our needs.
Readers, thank you for joining Pulpit Helps staff in bringing this need before the Lord.
